'86 Heater Solution
.......after finding core and hoses clear,flow through radiator,,,,I blew down hoses towards engine and found a total blockage----Turns out the hose fitting that threads into the engine (near the T'stat) was not only plugged,but also only 1/4"inside diameter to start.
.....knowing that any flow system is only as efficient as it's smaller part,and seeing that the 1/4" hole goes through a 3/4"o.d. pipe,I ventured to bore out this peice to nearly 1/2" ,like everything else-------now I've definetly got high performance heating,if nothing else!!! ---maybe this helps!!
