Air Filters
I have a 223 with the oil bath filter. The bowl has a crack and of course is leaking. I am considering converting it to a paper filter (found in the tech articles). Also thinking about a K&N. Do anyone know which K&N will fit?

I saw this part number on a site for sixes from 63 to 66. You could check this out.
My son went to a parts house and picked up an after market one with chrome housing that had the correct size throat. I think it was an Edlebrock as they are the most common around here. When I got the truck from him I put the oil bath back on, since the valves I think needed some oil vapor for lubing as I don't think '66s had hardened seats. There is an article in the tech section here that has an oil bath converted to paper. Retains the orignal look with replaceable element.
