I want to disable the Daytime running lights on a 2003 E250 van.I did a search but I can only find info on F trucks and I looked were the resistor is on F series and the E series is not the same.Any one know where the resister is on an E250?
I just went through this on my 2004 E250. I looked up a wiring diagram on the Alldata computer at the library and figured out all I had to do was unplug the module. I did that yesterday and it seems to be fine. No more DRLs and headlights still work manually.
If you want to disable your DRLs, the module is located behind the shroud under the hood just to the left of the hood latch. Pop out the air inlet tube, remove the 4 plastic pins holding the shroud on. Lift up the shroud and you can get to the module to unplug it. Since I have done this, everything seems to be working fine.
