head problem?
I bought a 87 bronco II 2.9 for my daughters first car. It had a bad water pump and was out of water when I bought it.
After replacing the pump and filling with water I started it up and it is blowing water out the pcv hookup and the oil filler plug. Is this the famous cracked head syndrome or am I looking at a cracked block?

bad heads
Does not sound good. Probably why the car was sold. I would change the oil & filter. Than have the cooling system pressure checked. I bought one years ago the same way & the heads were cracked. Steam would come out of the PVC & where you added oil. I rbuilt the engine totally because the crank bearings were ruined by the antifreeze. I put on new World Casting heads that are built heavier & cost $225.00 each. That was backin 1998.
