What is the recommended fluid for the np203. I have have read and heard 10w30,10w40, 50, 80w90. At first i used a quart of 80w90 and a small amout of 145 , then I was checking up and found that it was supposed to use like 10w30 so i put two quarts of that in and called in that. I was checking after i was done to confirm that i had a np203 from the previous owners and it is and he said to use 80w90. Then on the internet it said that lube causes failure and the chain needs 10w40 oil because lube is to thick. And is there a drain plug because its about impossible to suck the crap back out?

A friend of mine has a '78 Dodge Ramcharger with an NP203 and he runs strictly 10W30 motor oil. I don't see why the Ford case would be different. There should be a drain plug on the back of the case, near the bottom. Good luck.
