Hi Guys, I'm a new member to the boards but not to Ford. I just purchased a 1999 F250SD. I was wondering how I can find out what options came on the truck. Thanks for any help you can offer

Well, what trim level do you have? XL, XLT, Lariat?
Are you looking for something specific? Are you looking more for mechanical options and equipment, such as, axle type, spring type etc. or are you looking more for the creature comfort options? I, as well many others, can tell you what all those codes mean on the door jamb sticker and can also help you decode your VIN. Just give us a little more info to go on!

Ok,
Sorry I didn't include it.
Its a 1999 F250 XLT, 2wd, extended cab, with pwr w/d/b/s, Cruise, a4od trans,5.4L V8,I think the 4.10 rear end, 4wh disc brakes, and towing package. What other options came on it? I'm guessing it has more but not sure. I'm looking for what options are on it ie creature comfort and mechancial.

Well, sounds like you listed most of the options. First off, I'd assume AC is an option you have too. Look on the rear axle to see if you got a sway bar. If so, then you got the optional Camper package. Your trans is now labeled a 4R100. You can check your axle ratio and if you have a limited slip unit by looking at either the tag on the axle (an L in the ratio denotes the presence of a LS unit) or posting the axle code that you'll find on the Label on the driver side door jamb and I or someone else will tell you. What kind wheels you got? You got cab marker lights? How about a factory bedliner?

think the xlt should have keyless. in the owners manual it will tell you how to program the remotes. try the sequence, if it goes to the program mode you know you have it. just go to your friendly local ford parts man and ask to buy a remote. go through the sequence and program your new remote and you are done.
I had a 99 Super Duty XLT that I factory ordered. The keyless entry was an option. I'm not sure how to tell if you have it besides the obvious; having the little remote key fobs attached to the key chain.
