I am just wondering if the 3 gauge full pillar replacement for a 92-96 F-150 will work in my 91. I know a lot of things are the same in both body styles, but I am not sure about the interior/a-pillar. Thanks in advance!
I don't think they are the same but it should work. i think if you wanted a flawless installation you'd have to get a set of the later trim pieces for the A pillars, and attatch to that.
I never did it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. After all, they all have the same cab! The only thing I can think of is that it might be different where it meets the dash, but I don't know. It's worth looking into.
I have an 83 F150, and was wondering when someone would touch on this. IF I can find a decent donor truck, could I put the interior, dash and all, from a 90-96 F150 into my 83? My dad has a 92 I love, and I'd try and talk him out of it if I knew for sure it would fit. I'd also like to put his EFI 351W in, but that's for another forum....
Maybe, I think someone on this forum has done that before. I don't know if the dash is a complete bolt in or not, but the dimensions are the same so maybe aside from brackets it shouldn't be too hard. The wiring for guages may be different though.
I personally like my 86 dash better than the rounded newer ones.
Hmm idk how this got into the 80-86 forum I thought I put it into the 87-91.. oh well.
I really want to try see if the 92-96 gauge pod will fit in my 87-91 BS truck, but dont want to have it end up not fitting even close and be stuck with 25 bucks worth of plastic that I cant use. ANYONE tried this or even researched it before? thanks in advance!
