Electric fan cfm's

I've been looking at replacing the stock fan on my 79 250 400 auto, with a electric unit. I've seen the ones advertised in LMC, Summit, etc but I didn't know if the cfm rating would be high enuf for summer running pulling a horse trailer. A friend of mine is running one of the LMC fans on his 75 tiltbed, it worked pretty good until the heavy haul. So he got a fan from a 99 Grand Am and it pushes alot more air than the LMC.
So I guess what I am trying to find out is does anyone know the cfm ratings for electric fans found on newer cars. I can get a 99 grand am fan for $40 from the junk yard Thanks!

My question..........why does it appear your stuck on the 99 grand am fan?
There are bigger electric fans out there. You could go aftermarket fans pushing and pulling, flowing more air than you need, especially if you go with the side by side models. Man, thats alot of air.

I'm not stuck on going with a pontiac fan, it's just the only one I've compaired to the LMC fan. If I can find a stock electric fan from any vehicle that has more or equal cfm as compaired to a aftermarket fan for less money then that's an easy decision.

I guess what I was trying to say is not specificly aftermarket, but something like the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme has a dual fan set up with independant switches. Meaning you could wire one to be wired to a thermostat, or both on different thermostat settings, or one a manual switch if thats they way you want to go. Likely to be less loose stuff to hook up than multiple single fans. Oh, those two from the Olds are set up pullers rather than pushers, which I feel is a bonus.
Just tryin to help.
