Thumbs up couldn't do it without them!

today i got up at about 7:30 to help my dad finish putting a rearend under his 02 E150, right before we got tires on it, my friend from down the road(been friends since i was in 3rd grade) shown up saying that "he was there to help" which he did, but after we got done w/the 02 (which was a bouncing success), me and my buddy got to work on my bronco we needed to put another style of filter on it, but the fitting that i had didn't fit the carb, so we set out on a quest to find one that did, no luck, we was about to give up when ryan saw one on my hydrogen booster, and by a short chance it actually fit! it was like hitting me with a 250 horse shot of nitrious! we got it together and i fired up and ran like a charm! no more fuel leak! but the day was still young so we polished some chrome, got the engine looked a little better, then after the bronco nearly ran him over we decided that maybe we should fix the parking brake, so after we replaced a few parts on the parking brake we got it all nice and tight(and got yelled at because we had the broncos radio too loud) we decided what the hell! lets put the speedometer in it too, so the dash came apart as we ran the cable that we spent 30 min cleaning and lubricating carefully, we ran the cable and crossed our fingers cause the bronco already ate up 2 gears, we hit the road, we got past the 10ft that other gears have lasted and bingo! success!not only that but it seemed that the extra fuel pressure had help the power some, it seemed like the bronco was running like a dream! what a day! i dont think that im ever gonna wrench without him again! true friends kick ***!

One friend of mine in particular is like that...
Only prob is, he like to work on em wayyy too much.
I'll be changing the oil, and he's trying to talk me into dropping a 4.0/302/351/JATO pack into it. I always tell him no, only to look up from the pit and find him, in front of my truck, grinning, with an engine already on the stand waiting.
He's already got my NEXT motor build, ready, and waiting to go in.
I've only GOT 82,000 on the darn 2.3 that's in it, but it's never stopped him before....lol
Gotta love it.

my friend is kinda like that,he see's it as his responsability to remind me that the 302 takes up very little of the engine bay! but he thankfully doesn't go out and get one for me, although i wouldn't mind having a good 351...

Well, as I tell him, he keeps engine blocks stacked up like cord-wood, so it's no big deal for him. My favorite kind of crazy.
