How much extra hp/tq can I expect with a dual exhaust system on my 4.2v6? Do they sound ok?not like a coffee can import?

Probably not enough to offset the money. MY opinion, save your money and buy a V8 if you need more power.

exhaust on anything is a great upgrade. the benifits are greater than just more power. you lessen back pressure with makes the engin run more efficiently and run cooler which in return extends engin life and adds more power.

may wanna try this post in the 4.2L forum...i think a couple of guys that hang there have duels on that engine.
