chrome tie downs.
can anyone advise me the best way to attach the chrome tie downs on the side of my 85 f100, I have 2 on each side at the moment (front and back) but I am missing the middle ones, I unscrewed one of the existing ones and there seems to be some kind of nut that is set flush into the body holding them nice and sturdy. I am wondering if this truck originally had middle tie downs that were taken off because there is a gap in the tonneau cover elastic tie downs for them. Any help would be much appreciated.
