What flywheel for this contraption?
I owna 87 ford f150 302v8 4speed manual tranny. Can I use a mustang flywheel from the 80s and up? I think they are both 50oz and balanced? Not sure Any help??? Does the amount of teeth really matter?? 164 157 Thanks

The 302 change balance in 82 and yes 157 to 164 tooth flywheel will make a big difference. If you try to swap one for the other the truck will not start because of the different flywheel diameters and the starter is located based of the flywheel diameter.
I am not sure but I thought all trucks had 164 tooth flywheels but that is only a guess. If you have your flywheel out you can compare them.
