My trouble van
I did buy Ford f 150 van with 4.9l the last owner did drive with leak injector and did destroy the engine. I did take it out off the car and rebuilt it everybody did want to give me good advice take the A/P pump away it does nothing so I did that put the engine in the van then i took the fuel tank out and did clean it put new fuel pump in it then i change the high pressur fuel pump and filter I flush the fuel lines change the injectors and fuel pressure valve then did I start the Engine it did run ok for a few minutes then did it happen
the Engine was running and was powerless and I did get fuel in the oil (I hate this car) I flush all the fuel lines again and did one of the old injector in (injector in this car cost 250$ piece here in Iceland) Now I have a car wont run very low spark on the sparkplug and nr 1 injector will not sprayI have a one qeastion what doesA/P pump?if you have a information for me Im all open

Wow, you folks in Iceland sure put your sentences together differently than we do in the United States.
I had to read the post about 10 times to even sorta understand it.
What is amazing is you only ask one question, and it reguards the air pump.
And the answer is,....... no you don't really need it. It has no effect on how the engine runs.
