Ignition Switch
Had my ignition switch burn out the other day on my 88 BII. Had one wire and buen spot on it. Replaced it and in 2 days it burned again. Any Ideas why this would happen? Anyone esle had this problem?

My guess would be a bare wire in the steering column shorting to ground. Never had to fool with such a thing myself, so dont know how to check it. What does your wiring diagram show that burned wire going to??
