Alarm-Security-Help!
Hey Guys:
Loving my 2 week old XLT Supercab-- can't stop driving it!!
Just wondering how good the F 150 passive security system is?Does it function with some kind of ignition cut off switch, and does it offer some protection against the bad guys out there?? Can the ignition still be hot wired?
Are you guys installing additional alarm systems? Also, any concerns with an after market alarm system messing up any of the elaborate ignition sensors (it seems like the sensors are everywhere in this vehicle??)

your truck can't be hotwired, or started any other way. remember to get a third key. it takes two keys to program your extra key. if you lose a key it costs around a hundred dollars to reprogram a new key. call your dealer if i didn't explain it correctly. garman
