I have been struggling with the usual pitfalls of owning an older vehicle and have found many problems and many solutions. For now my truck is running great. Many thanks to the group for it's advise and direction. Good luck to you all with finding the solutions to the problems that keep you for motoring on.
Of what it is worth the problems that I have encounterd were all due to old electronic parts which after 12-13 years have lived out their usefullness. What helped me was an article that EPNCSU2006 pointed out on http://fordfuelinjection.com and understanding how to test sensors and how they influenced the computer.
I look forward to including myself where I can be helpful in the future out of common persuit to keep vehical on the road and useful, and out of respect for those of you who have kept me motivated and informed.
Glad you got it fixed. Just keep on reading. There are always many questions that need answers and you just may have the right one!!
Enjoy this great site.
