Tailgate problemos

My buddies PSD has had a tailgate latching problem. It refuses to stay latched and the dealer has tried fixing it once already. Mine seems to work fine as do my other friends with SD's.
Has anyone else had a problem

If so, what was the remedy...it's driving him

Mine works fine too. Does he have a bedliner or anything else that could keep the gate from closing all the way?

He does have a liner, but there is no interference. I put the same topic in over at F-D and another PSD owner said to lubricate the "inards' of the latching mechanism, and it should take care of it.
