Noisy lifters

I have an 87 f350 with a 351W and the lifters are noisy. I replaced them and they are worse. There is oil coming up out of the pushrods. They are not adjustable rockers so what gives? Are my rocker arms possibly worn? Is there an O-ring on the distributor shaft that leaks?

A little more info:
I replaced the heads because the exhaust valves were sunk and it was overheated. I got rebuilt heads and reused the stock valve train. It runs great but the lifters clack like mad. So I replaced them and it's the same or even worse slightly. I appreciate any help. Thanks

what shape were the fulcrums for your rockers in?? This could increase clearance. Lifters should have about .040 preload ( I think the acceptable range is .030-.060) hard to tell with the pedestal rockers but with a dial indicator it can be done.

that's .030-.060" on the base circle of the cam? Hmm. You know the more I think about it the more I think that those sucken valves may have pushed the pushrods too far into the rocker arm. It did appear to have some galling. Maybe I need a new set of rocker arms. I know JCwhitney had the sets of pushrods and rockers for Chevy for dirt cheap I wonder if they carry the Ford sets also.

Also, what are the differences between the 351W and C?
