Power wire question

I need to run a power wire for my camper, I thought that I would run one from one of the starter solenoid on the passenger side of the truck. The question I have is that there is one wire that goes to it but it splits into a "Y" then connects to the solenoid(I think thats what you call it). Which one should i connect it to??

Anyone understand what I just wrote??

thanks for any ideas!

Joey

Joey, There should be a power wire in the harness that runs to the rear of truck. I just can't tell you for sure which one it is. I carry a 11 1/2 ft Lance camper and my power wire is spliced in about halfway back. It is a larger wire!!Ssorry I can't tell you more. Carroll Allison

Thats ok i actually figured it out myself, I had to run a direct power wire from the bettery because my camper does not have a battery in it. Its an old camper but its still like new.

Got it all done now!,

Be carefull with that one, an extra battery to put in the camper would be cheap and a lot easier than a long walk out of the woods due to a dead battery.
