I want to put better headers on my 1990 full size Bronco. It is a 351 4x4. Someone told me he would sell his New in the Box Hedman Headers to me for $250.
Is this a deal?
How hard are they to install?
Is there something I need to do to the computer for them to work?
Any help is appreciated.
Our some better than others. Just asking because basically don't know what headers are or do. They guy that put the Flowmaster on my bronco offered them to me at that price.
Basically what is the difference from my factory headers and the replacement ones.
How do I know that the ones I will buy are different (better) than the originals.
Headmans are ok, but nothing to brag about. I have heard some real bad stories about them. I currently run a slick set of Bassani ceramic coated, equal length headers on my 96 bronco. Very nice stuff. Well constructed and some cool gasket designs.
Oh, headers will not effect youre computer. The only real snag when removing the stock manifolds are having the studs breaking. Other than that, just unhooking the EGR and away you go. Should take a few hours.
