Engine codes 634 and 332

Long story: In the last two weeks I have been having my engine light come on intermittently only while I am driving on the highway. I got the codes read and am getting 634 and 332 and as I was told 332 pertains to an EGR problem and 634 pertains to a neutral safety switch. If someone could give me some direction to start in trying to solve these problems?? In addition also within the last two weeks I have begun to have tranny problems. Also while driving on the highway if I take my foot off the gas I got this shuddering feeling as I began to accelerate almost as thought it was searching for a gear... at low speeds such as traffic or other consistent stop and go my truck shifts very roughly so much so that if I know that I will be spending time in stop and go I will manually shift it into second gear and leave it there until I can open the throttle up and let it shift through the gears.. Is there a relationship between this problem and my codes or is this something different and regardless what might be causing this? My truck has 112,000 miles on it and so far as I know it is pretty much all original...
