lifting the front 4" plan

well latley i have been running more ideas through me head yet again. i am thinking of getting new front 4" super flex coils and long travel shocks, along with drop brackets for the radius arms and track bar untill i can afford extended raduis arms and ajustible track bar later. and new brake lines. but i only want to do this for the front. since the rear was high from the factory they make leveling kits which are about 2". so my already high rear end is higher because of previusly installed add a leafs. so i think that 4" lift up front would even this out or maybe have a slight upward stance up front, which i am ok with because it will help with my crappy approch angles. i am also swiching to a 79 style steering set up with a drop pitman arm too. so am i missing anything? i really don't want to lift the truck very high, but want lots of travel and bigger tires. any thoughts? if you look in my gallery you will see the rake my truck has now.

just lift the front 4 inches....i dunno if you are doingg extended radius arms for clearance or flex....if for flex just wrist one of your current ones....youl be very happy

if its a little nose high...think of it this way...it helps put a little more weight on the back tires

how hard is it to wrist the radius arms? and what is it? is it like those sperical rod ends you se on 4 link set ups? yea i was going to do those extended arms for flex mostly, but they cost like 800 bucks! sorry that isn't going to happen. i think i kinda like that nose up look, plus i have plans for a 460 to be droped in place and that extra weigh along with the winch and bumper should work out nice. it's worth a try. thanks for the input.

Unless you have a fab shop, you are better off just going with extended arms. Try Jame duff
