need help fast please

I am leaving on a flight tonight and need to take a 3ed member out of a 9" the air line will only let me take 100lb in a bag. any idea what a 3ed member weights. thanks

Third member. I think your alright but I would check it on a bathroom scale to be sure. Hope your packing it so it dosen't leak any oil.

The 3rd member is the rear gears (Differential)

Engine > Transmission > Differential

Just the gears weighs about 20 lbs. With the carrier add another 10.

They will not let you take it unless you fill out hazmat shipping papers and prove that it is not hazardous to the flight. My recommendation is leave it at home and ship it by truck. Otherwise it will be at the airport, and you will need to deal with it.
