Bell housing problems
I have had a really hard time locating a bell housing for my truck. My old one broke where the clutch fork pivots. The bell housing I need is for an 86' F-250, now the truck came stock with a fuel injected 302 mated to a t-18 4-speed tranny, oh the truck is also 4x4. I did an engine swap and put in a 460 w/ about 470 horse and 520 lb-ft, but kept the stock tranny. I was wondering if anyone has or knows where I can get an aluminum bell housing to mate up to the 460. I've been told the only truck with that engine-trans combo was the 460 2-wheel drives cause they had the light duty 4-speed (t-18), the 4x4 460's had the heavy duty 4-speeds (t-19) in them.
Please, if anyone can help, it makes me sick to see my baby not runnin down vette's, and runnin over camaro's. he he he
