Shift *****
I have a manual b2500 and i was wondering if more peeps had my prob..and that is the shift **** has broken...and from what i hear that is a general problem in most mazda/ford trucks...also wondering what size know would fit on there

I am on my 3rd **** (factory + 2 replacements)
On this one
-I removed and superglued the shift pattern plate firmly on top (as it has a tendancy spin aimlessly).
-I glued the rubber casing to the plastic inner structure of the **** (as in the warmer weather, I can feel it spin arond the plastic inner piece)
-Finally, I put some low-strength loctite on the shifter, and slid the **** over that. Weak enough it will come off when I need it to, but strong enough to hold it on.
Been like this about 4 years, and no problems yet!
