why does a thread get locked?
Question regard this web site should be asked in the User feedback & suggestions forum.

why does a thread get locked?
The webmaster's and moderator's do an excellent job of keeping this site organized and family oriented. If something is posted in the wrong forum or if a thread is heading down the wrong road, it gets locked. Better to be too cautious than to have FTE turn into a "regular" message board!
