Proportioning valve

Hi,

Can someone tell me if a 73 or newer valve will work on my 68 or do I have to use one from a 67-72 model year.
I have factory front Disk brakes if it makes a difference.

A 68 did not come with disc brakes if your sure you have disc brakes i would think the 73 valve would be right , but if that truck has drums on the front i would use 67-72 valve.

It has Disks on the front. I thought disks were an option that year I have the 1968 shop manuals and it shows front disks. It has the porportioning vavle and the metering valve.
