bear claw latches

has anyone replaced the stock latches with the bear claws? i need to do something and thought this might be the way to go..
will my stock handles work and how about locking?

Inside handles will work easily using cable instead of linkage. Outside handles will require some creativity. Lock will be even tougher. Bear claws function better than stock, but not a good choice IMO unless you shave and use solenoids. My shaved doors are hanging on the garage wall and they never make me mad anymore.
