Question Gauges Installed, Almost, Need Help

I'm installing a trio of ISSPRO gauges (pyro, turbo boost & tranny temp) on my '02 F250 PSD. I'm almost finished but am having a little electrical difficulty. I've got the gauge lights tied into the dimmer switch wire & they're working great. I need help with the following items so I thought I'd ask the experts:
1. Where is the ignition wire to tie in the pyrometer control module? I read somewhere to look for the grey wire behind the fuse box but that didn't help me much.
2. The instructions say to locate a terminal on vehicle's fuse panel to supply 12v ignition power to the tranny module. But then it says the preferred electrical connection is direct to ignition sourse protected by a one Amp fuse and switch. Which is better? How do I find the right wire & what kind of switch are they talking about?
3. Is it OK to increase the length of the wires between the tranny temp sensor and the control module? I know not to increase the pyro wire length.
Mechanically, I had a blast putting in the gauges but, as you can probably tell, I'm a little electrically challenged. Please help.

Hey, thanks for trying. Those are really good instructions but they don't quite do it for my '02 model. I have found some of the answers though.
1. The pyro & tranny gauge control modules tie into a switched ignition line. It was located just to the right of the fuse panel behind the lower metal rail that the fuse panel connects to. It's a round plug with 4 wires going into it (I think it's some sort of relay because it doesn't hook to anything).
2. By a switch, they meant a switched ignition source (only powered when the key is on). That definitely could have been worded better in the instructions.
3. As for increasing the length of the wire for the tranny temp, tech support said to go ahead.
Thanks again for your help.

It would be alot easier to install an aux. fuse block. Tied everything into it and eliminated alot of stuff under the dash. Painless Wiring Kits from www.genosgarage.com
Got tired of the wire taps coming off and fuses blowing, stuff quiting. If you've got to the wiring part take some advice, do it right the first time so you don't have to go tracing stuff down. Your truck has alot more room under there so it won't be that difficult. I got the tip from Quad and it sure paid off. Thanks Quad.
