rear window not opening
I have a 94 xlt and the rear window opener in the tailgate will not work . the window works perfectly fine from the dash. I have heard this is a somewhat common problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

roll the window down and open the tailgate. you will see a wiring harness on the driver side going into the tail gate there. inside that harness is a wire that if i remember correctly is black with a white tracer. this wire is prone to break from opening and closing the tailgate.it feeds positive power to the key switch all the time. check here first and then follow the wire back and i think you will find a broken wire.
