Piston Slap? (knock)
Which is it? I've heard all about the slap in the 5.4's for over 3 years now, luckily my 99 with 88k never had the problem and runs great. I read all about the oil filters in the other post and now V10 owners are having similar problems. I always thought this only happened to 5.4's? What did they ( Ford ) find the problem to be? After 4 years they've must of figured it out by now hopefully as I've got an 02 5.4 coming in 4 weeks! Yeah, Ford service and their dealers stink, but they build an awesome truck. Trimman
