Summer is near, my girlfriend says that I can only make one big buy a year. Last year I installed a skyjacker 4 inch lift, But my 33's are starting to look small, so I was thinking about a set of 35 inch SSR's, and you like to hear your guys opionions. I would also like to know about the Superchips tuner, good or bad. As far as that goes what she doesn't won't hurt her.
I love my SSR's they have been great. I have over 20k on them and looks like I can get 25k more out of them easy. I also love my super tuner. But I don't plan on headers or anything. I also wanted to be able to set my own shift points. It works out well for me.. If the most power you can get is what your looking for get the Diablo. It give more power than the super tuner and can aslo be reprogramed for other mods. like headers and stuff. The Super Tuner can't.
You are all going about it the wrong way. Let me explain how I got what I wanted.
First I wanted to buy a toyhauler, My bronco just won't pull one. So I convinced her that we needed a bigger truck. Hence the PSD. Then we got not only a toyhauler but a 33 ft fifth wheel toyhauler. (told her it would allow for more vacations and travelling, because no hotel expenses etc. = cheaper trips =more) Are you guys following me here? Then gotta have airbags and on board compressor to get rid of the sag when loaded because of safe handling, cannot put my son in danger. Then gotta watch for high tranny temps, got the bigger tranny pan and A post gauges, pyro, boost and tranny. She doesn't know if I had to buy all three or not. Fuel economy down pulling? Had to get a airaid intake and K&N. Took a couple of trips through the rockies. Talked her into a predator and a four inch exhaust, "you know more power better handling, fuel economy blah blah blah." Man those trips would sure be nice if we had a dvd player and screens mounted in the headrests, cause our second son is on the way and it would keep the kids happy on long trips. "Do you know how nice a CB radio and air horns would be in this truck honey? We could talk with the truck drivers ahead and find out road cond. as well as avoid the cops (since we are pulling about 80 to 95 mph) could use the air horn to be heard when we get cut off.
Guys no need to dump the woman just use them to our advantages. LET THEM THINK THAT THEY ARE MAKING THE DECISION. For their sake of course!!!!!!!

LOL - you'd do well in Washington DC. Did you give Bush lessons?
I have my wife "conditioned" that every mod is in the $300 to $400 range. Heated trailer mirrors - $300. Stainless nerf bars - $350. Tuner - $400, etc...
Yes I believe that "conditioning" is the correct term. Glad to see that I am not the only manipulative person on this sight. My wife is happy because she feels that everything that goes into MY truck she decided on and that it has conrtbuted to the family!! She has a brand new Toyota Suv, but I get all the upgrades
