Air FIlter vacum lines

im putting on a clamp on air filter on my 94 ranger and remvoing all the stock air box and stuff. just wondering what to do with two lines going into the top of the airbox. they both look close to alike one is a vacum line cause i can feel it sucking and the other has wire with it i think maybe. should i just plug them? will it hurt anything if i just leave them be? thanks

if you feel any of em sucking that'll probally be a vacume leak
I'm going thru a vacume nightmare right now but to my understanding the lines goin to the air cleaner has to do with hot and cold air intake ,for the cold starting cycle.

That is correct. You can plug the one with the vacuum signal. The other should go the the air box flap and come off with the airbox.
Where is the intake air temp sensor located? In the filter housing or the air tube to the throttlebody?

It would have a vacuum leak and could cause idle issues. You can just stick a screw in the hose that fits snug and locate the hose out of the way if you need too.
