XM Radio Install Question

Hey everybody... just got a 2004 STX!

I was wondering... what's the best way to install the XM delphi in my new truck?

Will it work if I plug into the radio's AUX input (with an adapter)? Or will I have to go the FM modulator route?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

Jake,

I have installed the Audiovox Sirius unit and used a hardwired powered FM modulator. The sound quality is excellent. It's my understanding that at this point no one has manufactured a bus cable that works with the AUX input on these stereos (some one please correct me if I'm wrong). I ordered a mounting bracket from Pro Fit International that will work with the Delphi unit as well. Very easy installation and it puts the unit high enough up on the console to be safe. Check out my gallery for pics.

Here's the link to the bracket.

TXJ.... is correct regarding the aux. Oly the factory DVD uses the Aux input to date. Fm hard wired modulator, or a sat unit with FM broadcast is the way to go for now.
