Not sure

Well guys Im new to the whole diesel concept, just bought my first one: 2000 ford f250 supercab, superduty, 4x4, with a manual transmission. My question is are you susposed to put additive in the fuel every time you fill up your tank, just curious cause im stationed in GA and it gets pretty cold. Does the cold affect diesel.
Thanks alot Brandon

If there is going to be a prolonged period of cold weather(below 15f) I would. Other options are to plug the truck in 3hours before use or purchase a timer for the heater. You can also cut your tanks with 2 or 3 gallons of kerosene at each fill up, a little cheaper than always using additives.
