hey, i'm wondering if anybody can help me. i havce a 95 ford ranger and i'm buying some rims for it. i found some rims at a steal, but they said it is for front wheel drie vehicles. it is the right bolt patern and the right offset, so i don't see why it would not work. if anybody could help me out i would be vcer thankful.

uh... so far as i know, there are no diffences in wheels from a fwd to a rwd, cause you still gotta rotate them, therefore, all the wheels should be the same. If they are a good deal, go pick them up, and shoot us some pics when you can.

Can you tell us why? And what would make them not work on a rwd?

the fwd wheels have little to no "lip" or "dish" like rwd wheels do. meaning the center of the wheel is about even with the outer rim. The reason you can rotate them on a vehicle is that all four are fwd or rwd, not 2 front and 2 rear. if you are trying to switch to fwd wheels then you have to worry about your turning and sometimes clearance of your brake calipers. when switching to rwd wheels you might have issues with your fenders.
