X-pipe?

X-pipe?
Would an exhaust crossover like the x-pipe offered by Hedman add any power, or would it just give you a better sounding exhaust? I saw it in my Summit catalog a while back and was wondering it would be worth the money.

Installing a crossover is supposed to smooth out the power and torque band, as far as the exhaust system affects it.
The tried and true method is to paint the pipes white. Drive it awhile, and you will see spots on both pipes where the paint is burned or obviously heated. These are the points the crossover should connect to.
