New Server Online

To meet the needs of FTE's user base, the largest and fastest growing Ford truck and suv online enthusiasts community, an additional server was brought online at Tuesday, February 17 at 11:00 am (EST).

Site performance should be significantly faster, especially during peak hours. As we offload additional tasks to this server in the upcoming days expect to see even faster server response time.

Were you doing any adjustments after you installed the server? I tried to come onto the site around 1 pm and was getting an error message when I clicked on Forums. Came back a few minutes later and it was working. Seems like it is already slightly faster.

Yes. I took the forums offline in order to do a quick test of the database backup procedure.

FYI - all the of graphics aren't loading if you go the advanced post area. The smileys and so on...not all loading.

Hey Ken, New format is great but I'm wondering if we can make it display a member's location by their name or something. That's the only thing I miss vs the old format was knowing where each person was from (those who included it) by looking under their name in a thread.

Btw, thanks for all the hard work you put into the site!
