down shifting
can any body help me with my problem?For the last year my 1994 ford f-150 xlt 5 litre v8 has been shifting gears intermittently.It seems to only happen when the truck has been diven for twenty minutes or so. I've had it checked at garages and they say the transmission is fine.No slipping just seems to shift gears on it's own.

That sounds like an issue with the electronics. What kind of transmission is it?

I believe its the e40d and it has overdrive.
