I want to give my 2000 Explorer Limited (2WD) a facelift
and I am thinking about installing chrome rims, new
tires and (possibly) lowering the suspension.
Can someone advise what is the biggest rim size (and offset)
and tire combination that will fit.
I would also appreciate some advice on lowering the suspension and how much I might be able to lower it.
Personally I think you are going in the wrong direction. The explorer need a lift put on it. Now that i have put my 2 cents in. You might try www.truckperformance.com They should have some lowering kits to chose from.
