1988 F-150 351W super cab


transmission code "K" means: C-6 ?



Also if i'm facing the front of the truck where do I look for the oil sending unit. Need to see if its leaking

if it has overdrive then no..if it only has 3 speeds then yes it's a c6....the oil sending unit is right above the oil filter on the driver side front of the engine. Hope that helps.

Yes, K is the code for the C-6 auto trans.
