My dad is going through the first truck he bought when he started his business back in '72 --- a 1965 Ford 500 which is in surprisingly good shape and he would like to part out basically the entire cab/body section and keep the drivetrain. I have been on Ebay to get some ideas but came up short.
Any ideas/experience/etc if these parts are worth anything? (fenders/emblems/grille/doors/etc) He looked through a MAC'S catalog I gave him and saw the prices for parts for old Fords and is excited to sell for more reasonable prices.
Another question would be is anyone on here interested in buying some of these pieces?
Oh sorry I didnt know about the no-sell thing. I'm sure it is something I should have read somewhere on here, but of course I didn't!
We are in the Northeast. And thanks for the greeting...
I was just wondering if anyone had interest in these heavier trucks....most of what I've seen deals with pickups and I assume these are mostly what people restore.

I'm going to be redoing my 65 F-350 sometime in the near future.I'll be looking for parts for it .Some of the parts I need are the bigger parts, like hood ,doors or fenders.Shipping and handling can be expensive for some of the heavier parts .I was just curious to know how far away you are. But, I do need some smaller parts also.Let me know where you plan on listing you parts and I'll check it out.I'm in Maine ,so I guess it will be the smaller parts for sure.Good luck.
Post a pick if you get a chance, I like the look of the heavy duty old fords, although they are really too expensive and impracticle to restore for most people!
I am trying to get an ad or two over in the classifieds here in 61-79 f series, but seem to be unable to log in, even though I am logged in right now? But when I figure it out, that's where some of the stuff should be.
Fordfaggiole the truck is in Maine also near Lewiston. Maybe this might be worth a drive for ya to look at. My dad is not looking to make a killing, just to get a little money from this old truck as he is working on it and have someone get some use out of these pieces and not just throw them away.
ps whats with the link to FTE club...can I assume this is a work in progress?
