Jet fighter on Ebay
I can't believe they're selling a jet on Ebay. If you look at the bottom of the page, they say keep looking for them. They might put up a Mig soon.
What's this world coming to? Could you imagine this if Ebay was around long ago?

Hey! Let's have all of the FTE members kick in a few bucks each and we could buy the thing and paint it up with the website logos!

I would love to have that, but something seems kind of fishy.
F/A-18A started production in 1983, If this was an early Blue Angle it would have been in the team by 1988. They started to fly them in 1986.
With a total airframe time of 3,793 hours or 237 hours per year (calculating on 16 years in air) or six minutes per day for the last sixteen years with five days per week flight time.
The engines have a zero hours on them, which means that they have never been used. It almost seems as if this bird was being refurbished an “forgot” by our government.
If you read it close it states that it has to be put back together to be in flying condition. If I were that person I would expect that the FBI, CIA and DOD will pay them a visit. It stated that the FBI has already stopped by to check out the plane.

A friend of mine said the "N" number and the serial number don't match up with FAA records on this particular plane... There are presently 9 F-18 with civilian "N" numbers.
