If you read it close it states that it has to be put back together to be in flying condition. If I were that person I would expect that the FBI, CIA and DOD will pay them a visit. It stated that the FBI has already stopped by to check out the plane.

A friend of mine said the "N" number and the serial number don't match up with FAA records on this particular plane... There are presently 9 F-18 with civilian "N" numbers.
By the way, this is not the first jet fighter on eBay.
