I would say to get some by Westin. Summit has them in black powdercoat regular steel (5yr warranty) for $199 or black powdercoat stainless (lifetime warranty) for ~$260. I have a set in chrome on my F350 Super Cab. They bolt on in a few minutes with a couple of tools and use existing factory bolt holes. They are the full length of the cab, including the smaller rear doors or the Super Cab and have two molded in black steps on each bar. Very sturdy, I've been using them to get in/out and they don't give at all.

I have a 1999 F250 SuperDuty 4X4 and I purchased in march of 2000. I added a set of the Black tubular bars and they are made by Weston. I got them at Gene C Trucks in Jonesboro Ga for $265.00 out the door and installed myself in about an hour and a half. Looks great on the truck and user friendly.
