I read here but can't find anymore, what year of seats fit the 73 to 79 fords? I have a 74 crew and want to install buckets of a spilt bench with consol but I can't have them sit too high as I am 6'7" I need them low to the floor, any ideas???? Please!
I am not sure of any buckets and console that will bolt in. Most regular seats up to a 96 will bolt in using your sliders. Maybe some newer then that But Im not sure. I put Buckets and console in But I made a frame That the seats and console Bolt to and then the stock Sliders Bolt to the frame. I built it accordingly Because Im 6'6".
I used Explorer seats Because Thats what I had, But As soon as I can come up with some I will be using F-Series Captins Chairs.
I put seats in mine out of a windstar. Had to do some mods to but nothing major. The seats sit no higher than the original seat. The center console i got from a superduty. All i had to do to that is the one side i had to cut about an inch off the bottom so it would sit flat. i got pics of my interior in my gallery.
ebay has some bucket seats for sale, they might not be to high. they are a little on the expensive side pushing 550.00. but u might be able to e-mail the seller and get dimensions on the seats.
