Cold Start Issue - Yet Again
I know this subject has been talked about to death on here but I hope I can get some more insight on this.
I had a CEL and had AutoZone check it. They showed the codes for Banks 1 and 2 Lean. After reading posts on this forum, I bought the lower intake manifold gaskets and was going to have a buddy of mine put them in. He took the vehicle home with him and stopped at his local Ford dealer on the way and had a friend of his check it on their computer. They did not get the same codes there and cleared the computer. It started and ran fine the day I brought it in to him and again the following morning so he did not do the gasket replacement. He did clean the MAF sensor but did not replace it. I have not had a CEL again but the other morning it idled rough again.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestion. A co-worker also suggested to me to add some fuel injector cleaner on the next 2 fill-ups. He said he had a similar problem with cold starting on his GMC pickup and it helped immensely.
