eng light w/ change in temp
You guys helped me with my dpfe now my father-in-law needs help. His engine light comes on with a change in tempature or wet weather. I'd read somewhere here about that and I've not found it. Would it be the IAC or a MAF. '98 4.6

From what I've read, most (if not all) don't get a light when the IAC acts up. The best thing you or f-i-l could do is read the code with a OBDII scanner. That should take all the guesswork out of fixing the problem.
