Computer help

I just recently reloaded windows XP onto my laptop and now every time I visit my password protected web sites mainly hot mail i have to reenter my password. Before reinstall I was automatically signed in. If I go to hot mail then link to FTE I cannot post and even if I sign in it does not let me post. i have to enter the site for IE. Is this just a simple setting or just something I should just deal with.

Sounds to me like your cookies are blocked.

where is Cookie control in IE???

Tools> Internet Options> Privacy
At the bottom of the box, there is a section that says "Web Sites". Click on the edit button and you'll be in the "Per Site Privacy Actions"- scan down and see if you've got the site blocked.
