Kokomo,

I noticed in one of your posts that you're running 285/75-16 Goodyear MTR's. What are your impressions of these tires? Wear? Noise? Handling? Traction in various conditions? What style of driving do you do? Would you reccommend them?

I am seriously considering swapping out the stock Steeltex Tires for the exact tires you're running before I even leave the lot, I'm just concerned that they might be a little too agressive (ie LOUD) for everyday driving and highway use. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Waxy

Waxy, I like them very much. they are not noisy as to look
at them and if you adjust your stereo you no't even hear them.
It was raining on saturday and I took off very quickly at a right
hand turn and the truck started to swerve but as it straightened
out they bit and bit hard and was hardly noticeable. I have been
in the wet Georgia clay and did not have to lock in the front end at
all. They only sore spot is in my wallet at $875.00 with the road
hazard but they have been well worth it. The only thing I need to
do is put on a Helix Power Tower and probably a Programmer II to correct the computer for tire size and shift, air and fuel adjustments.

Hope this helps.
