Anyone ever replace the trans cooler?
I've got a small leak in the trans cooler and am looking for your past experiences in replacing it. It looks as if it can be replaced with simply removing the grille and unbolting the old one. Is it that simple? Also, the pictures of the new coolers that I've seen on autozone.com have two coils that join together with a coupler. Is the part that actually bolts onto the core support a bracket that the old cooler comes out of and the new one goes into or is it all one piece? I can't tell and don't want to take it all appart and find myself stuck with a down truck.
